	Aruba Tourism Authority is partnering with the Destination Marketing team at Hotelbeds to promote tourism recovery until the end of August 2021.
	Hotelbeds will attract incremental international visitors to the Caribbean island of Aruba via leveraging the company’s contracting team in the destination to gain special promotional rates and deals.
	The 60,000 travel trade buyers of Hotelbeds – retail travel agents, tour operators, airlines, and points redemption programs – typically provide high-value, international guests that stay longer, book further in advance and spend more in destination.


Palma, Spain, &nbsp;11 November 2020 – Hotelbeds, the world’s leading bedbank, has today announced an agreement with Aruba Tourism Authority, the official Destination Marketing and Management Organization (DMMO) for the Caribbean island of Aruba.

As part of the agreement the Destination Marketing team of Hotelbeds will drive incremental tourism arrivals to the region and work with Aruba Tourism Authority on recovery efforts through till the end of August 2021.

The objective of the partnership is for Hotelbeds to market and improve the level of inbound tourism into the Caribbean island by increasing both the overall room nights generated as well as &nbsp;revenue performance.

This will be achieved by attracting incremental visitors to the region from international source markets by leveraging Hotelbeds’ contracting team in Aruba to gain access to special promotional rates and exclusive deals on hotels and activities.

Additionally, via the company’s Bedsonline brand – which distributes solely to travel agents – the campaign will introduce initiatives such as exclusive hotel rates for travel agents and host dedicated training webinars to show how Aruba has adapted to COVID-19 travel and safety measures.

Aruba will benefit from focused promotion to the over 60,000 travel trade buyers – including retail travel agents, tour operators, airlines, and points redemption programs – that work with Hotelbeds in over 140 source markets globally.

Such travel trade buyers typically offer more international arrivals that in turn deliver high-value customers who spend more in destination, stay longer, cancel less, return more often and book further out than typical direct-to-consumer customer profiles.

In order to focus on establishing a more responsible and sustainable business model, Hotelbeds now has over 15,000 properties within its portfolio certified as sustainable.

These hotels will now be easily identifiable to the more than 60,000 travel trade client partners of Hotelbeds and Bedsonline – including travel agents, tour operators, airlines and point redemption schemes – via this new green filter that will include details of certifications and offer tags.

As part of this initiative, Hotelbeds can confirm that it has become a full member of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC), the leading global authority in setting and managing standards for sustainable travel &amp; tourism.

To certify over 15,000 properties as sustainable, Hotelbeds has partnered with global sustainability certification companies to identify fully certified hotel properties following the criteria of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) for hotels.

The criteria are organized around four main themes: effective sustainability planning, maximizing social and economic benefits for the local community,&nbsp;enhancing cultural heritage, and reducing negative impacts on the environment.

Palma, Spain,&nbsp;19 October 2020 – &nbsp;Bedsonline, the leading global provider of accommodation and complementary travel products exclusively for travel agents,&nbsp;has today reached an agreement with Rally Investco – which collaborates with Galileo Indonesia – to manage the Bedsonline business in Indonesia.&nbsp;

As part of this agreement Rally Investco will be the General Sales Agent (GSA) of Bedsonline in Indonesia.

Indonesian travel agencies working with Bedsonline will continue to book all their accommodation, activities, transfers and car-hire via bedsonline.com.

Rally Investco will now begin to offer to Bedsonline’s local customers:


	A dedicated help desk located in Indonesia and operated in the local language (Bahasa Indonesia). This will include dedicated local telephone numbers which will also help reduce costs for Bedsonline’s customers.
	Access to the rewards programme Galileo Club: Rally Investco, who collaborate with Galileo Indonesia, will enable agents to earn reward points as they book hotels through their own agent incentive programme, Galileo Club. Agents will also be able to earn points as they book flights through the Galileo GDS, meaning all points can be redeemed under one platform.

Matthews joins as Global Director for Technology &amp; Product Management in a newly combined role leading both the Technology and the Product Management areas of Hotelbeds.

In addition to his new role, Matthews will also become a member of the company’s Executive Committee.

Matthews joins Hotelbeds from his current role as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at GVC Holdings, a business that develops end-to-end technology stacks for sports betting brands, including the third largest UK high street retailer, Ladbrokes Coral Group.

His career spans more than two decades and includes the roles of Head of Software Engineering for Sky and CTO for Cerillion Technologies, a company specialising in enterprise on-premise, mobile, and SaaS software for multiple sectors including telecommunications, media, energy, and financial services.

Palma, Spain, 25 August 2020 – Hotelbeds, the world’s leading bedbank, has entered into an agreement with Netactica, a travel technology company dedicated to the travel industry in Latin America.

Thanks to this collaboration, Netactica’s 70 plus clients in Latin America, including travel agencies, online travel agencies, tour operators, loyalty programs and airlines gain access to Hotelbeds’ extensive portfolio of 180,000 hotels in 140 countries worldwide.

In addition Netactica also now offers its clients ancillary services from the &nbsp;Beyond The Bed portfolio of Hotelbeds, which is composed of 25,000 transfer routes, 18,000 activities in more than 680 destinations, and 30,000 pick-up locations in 170 countries.

Netactica’s high-value clients now join Hotelbeds’ existing 60,000 B2B travel buyers, who typically book further in advance, pay more per room, stay for longer, have lower cancellation rates and spend more at the property.

With this agreement Netactica aims to optimise the performance of its clients and will boost the sale of Hotelbeds’ supplier partners by including informative labels and updating on the latest implementations.
