Hotelbeds launches its most powerful tool to date,  The Compass Pro

Palma, Spain, 23rd November 2021 – As borders across the APAC region are slowly reopening and welcoming back international travellers, Hotelbeds is pleased to announce a new partnership with the Department of Tourism of the Philippines, who it is joining forces with to attract travellers from the UK with a new campaign, 'More fun awaits in the Philippines'.

"We are experiencing a significant amount of pent-up demand in the UK market and, with the slow lifting of travel restrictions in the Philippines, now is the perfect time to educate our agents and secure future bookings in the destination,” said Joseph Sheller, Head of Global Destination Marketing at Hotelbeds.

This new campaign will take the opportunity to showcase the different activities that can be found in the Philippine Islands. Bedsonline partners with Jean & Lew Holidays to distribute its portfolio in Kuwait

Palma, Spain, 15th&nbsp;November 2021 – As the Phocuswright Conference gets underway this week in the US, Hotelbeds has revealed how it used the COVID-enforced downtime to focus on customer services innovations and improvements in the region to help partners through the tough days and to prepare for recovery.

Speaking on the first day of the Conference, where Hotelbeds is also sponsoring the Young Leaders Summit, Hotelbeds’ Commercial Director Americas, Lauren Atlass, said: “We truly &nbsp;understand that one of the key success factors in this new world of travel is to be whole-heartedly customer-centric and so, during the COVID-enforced downtime in travel, we took advantage of the capacity we had and turned our focus to how we could best get ready, and help our partners, to get ready for recovery as well as to manage the many challenges the pandemic threw at us.

“We invested in our platforms and developed a range of innovative tools that now form part of our self-service suite, SelfSet, and which are designed to give our clients really efficient ways of managing their own bookings.”

Aligned to this customer-centric approach, Hotelbeds has also increased its customer service workforce in North America by 73% – a move which has resulted in some impressive improvements in their service ratios by improving its call attendance in the region resulting in 90% of calls are now answered in less than 30 seconds.

Lauren Atlass added: “At Hotelbeds we leverage the value of technology to improve our service and product offerings to our customers and partners. Our priority is to save our clients time and money, allowing them to spend more time on the phone selling instead of managing their bookings, recognising the huge importance of this for our partners as they seek to rebound from one of the most challenging periods in the history of our industry. Hotelbeds bets on customer-centricity as key to success in the new world of travel

Palma, Spain, 03 November 2021 – Hotelbeds has this week scooped the award for “The World’s Leading Bedbank” at the Uzakrota travel awards, organised by one of Turkey's leading travel platforms!

Just a year after its subsidiary company Bedsonline, achieved Gold as part of the same awards, Hotelbeds has come away with a top prize of its own, beating off strong competition in the process!

London, United Kingdom 02 November 2021 – Hotelbeds, the world’s leading bedbank, has today announced it is to become the launch partner, and the first strategic partner globally, for a world-leading group in hospitality, Accor’s new Leisure Partner Platform (ALPP).

	The enhanced partnership agreement with YaVas reinforces Hotelbeds position in the Americas.

Palma, Spain, 20th October 2021 – Hotelbeds, the world’s leading bedbank, has today announced a preferred deal with YaVas, an OTA created by Volaris – the ultra-low-cost Mexican airline – that gives travellers the chance to find everything they need in one place and enjoy an unparalleled travel experience.

YaVas is a one-stop-shop booking engine that offers travellers the opportunity to buy airline tickets, accommodation, check in and carry on luggage, as well as transfers tickets and unique experiences.

This partnership puts Hotelbeds in a stronger position in the Americas – especially in Colombia, Central America, Mexico and the US source markets – thanks to the solid position that both Volaris and YaVas have in those countries.&nbsp;

This agreement provides YaVas with full access to Hotelbeds extensive portfolio of 180,000 hotel properties in 140 countries worldwide, many of which are contracted under special terms and conditions.

YaVas will also be able to offer their clients an extensive range of ancillary services from Hotelbeds’ ‘Beyond The Bed’ portfolio, which comprises 25,000 transfer routes, 18,000 activities in more than 680 destinations, and 30,000 pick-up locations in 170 countries.

	Hotelbeds has signed a new agreement with Travel South USA to drive both domestic and international inbound tourism to the southern states.&nbsp;
	The campaign will target Hotelbeds' extensive network of commercial travel buyers based in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Germany, and will highlight the South's many attractions as a leisure destination. &nbsp;


Palma, Spain, 15th October 2021 – Hotelbeds, the world’s leading bedbank, today announced a new campaign with Travel South USA to introduce travel advisors to the southern states of the USA and promote both domestic and international tourism.

Starting this month, Hotelbeds will launch the campaign with Travel South USA focused on its extensive network of travel advisors in the US, United Kingdom, Canada and Germany, to promote the many authentic destinations included in the promotion.

In doing so, Hotelbeds aims to showcase the wide range of tourist attractions that the southern places have to offer, from beaches to mountains; from activity to leisure; from big cities to small towns, that can be enjoyed at any time of the year.

Following the success of the 2020 campaign in cooperation with Travel South USA, this year's campaign will feature nine (9) states and fourteen (14) cities in the southern United States. Each destination will provide a unique and diverse experience for leisure tourists.
