	La noticia sigue el reciente anuncio de la consolidación de Bedsonline, con clientes minoristas de GTA que migran a la plataforma de reservas líder de Bedsonline, que es utilizada exclusivamente por agentes de viajes.
	La inclusión de la cartera de productos minoristas de GTA amplía significativamente la gama de contenido exclusivamente contratado y disponible solo para agentes de viajes, la cual aumento el número de hoteles disponibles de 55.000 a 170.000.
	Nombramiento anunciado antes del evento Embajadores, que tiene sede en Riviera Maya a partir del 27 de septiembre.


Cancún, México – septiembre 26, 2018. – Bedsonline, el proveedor global de servicios de alojamiento y viajes complementarios diseñado exclusivamente para agentes de viaje, ha anunciado hoy el nombramiento de Juan Carlos Caamal-Jiménez como Area Sales Manager para el mercado de México.

Caamal será responsable de proporcionar a los clientes de Bedsonline, compuestos exclusivamente por agentes de viajes, en el mercado local los más altos estándares de servicio al cliente junto con una mayor expansión y diversificación del número de agencias de viajes suscritas. Anteriormente Juan Carlos era el Sales Manager de Bedsonline en Cancún.

Esta noticia sigue al reciente anuncio en donde la compañía a la que GTA y Bedsonline pertenecen, Hotelbeds Group, consolidará su cartera de productos minoristas y oferta mundial bajo la recientemente renovada marca y plataforma Bedsonline, estableciéndose como el proveedor líder mundial de alojamiento y servicios complementarios diseñados exclusivamente para el uso de agencias de viajes.

El hito estratégico siguió a una extensa consulta con los clientes desde que Tourico Holidays y GTA, junto con sus marcas minoristas, TravelBound y TravelCube, se unieron a Hotelbeds Group en 2017.

El nombramiento de Caamal coincide con Bedsonline celebrando este año su novena edición de Embajadores, el evento anual líder para agentes de viajes en México, que comenzará el 27 de septiembre en la Riviera Maya. Durante los tres días del evento, alrededor de 300 agentes, 30 patrocinadores, profesionales y personas influyentes de toda la industria se reunirán para discutir temas de interés dentro del espacio turístico.

Shanghai, China - September 26, 2018 - Hotelbeds Group, the world´s leading bedbank, has today provided another update on the senior management appointments across its Group in Asia Pacific (APAC).

Hui-Wan Chua has been confirmed as the Regional Director for Wholesale Sales for the APAC market. In this role, Chua will be responsible for growing the Group’s business in the APAC region across the three different bedbank brands – Hotelbeds, Tourico Holidays and GTA – reporting directly to Sam Turner, the Wholesale Sales &amp; Sourcing Director with global responsibility.

Previously Chua joined GTA in 2017, before it joined Hotelbeds Group in 2017, and was most recently the Vice President of Asia Sales &amp; Marketing. Before joining Hotelbeds Group she was the CEO at ZUJI, a leading online travel agent in Asia. Chua has also held a number of senior roles in Asia at leading travel companies such as Travelport and Abacus International.

Additionally, the regional management positions that will report to Chua have been confirmed, combining the best of existing internal talent from across the three bedbanks.

In the Regional Manager roles, Chan Tze Yuan has been appointed to cover Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and Taiwan; Isabelle Kim will cover East Asia; Richard Styles will be in charge of Pacific and Indochina; and Laura Wang and Joy Huang will lead China.

Since January, the Group has been identifying top employee profiles from the three companies, at both senior management and management levels, in order to better respond to the needs of the Group’s expanded operations following the integration of Tourico Holidays and GTA.&nbsp; So far 350 appointments have been made to date.

London – Singapore, 5th September 2018. Hotelbeds Group and Singapore Airlines (SIA) have come together to form a holiday packaging partnership, offering bundled flights and hotel accommodation solutions to SIA’s customers.

This new collaboration enables SIA to take a step further by utilising Hotelbeds Group’s proprietary dynamic packaging platform to enable customers to curate their own holiday packages, with real-time selection of flights from SIA’s extensive network plus more than 170,000 hotels. More than 24,000 transfer routes and 18,000 activities such as theme parks and museums from Hotelbeds will be made available progressively.

Singapore Airlines’ customers will be able to book these customisable packages online in an easy and convenient manner. Bartlam has a career spanning more than 16 years in the retail travel sales industry, including as a national account manager for Attraction World, one of the world’s leading theme park and attraction ticket specialists.

In her new role Bartlam will help with the further consolidation of the Ancillary Bank division of Hotelbeds Group in the UK, Ireland and Scandinavia.

Bartlam will become part of a team that will now consist of five dedicated regional Sales &amp; Sourcing roles reporting directly to Peter Jones, the Head of Sales for Europe.

This appointment to the Ancillary Bank sales team in Europe comes at a strategic moment for the company after the recent announcement of a new structure for the department, following the integration of Tourico Holidays and GTA into the Group last year.

This new business structure was introduced a few months ago to ensure the optimization of cross-selling opportunities generated through the company’s diverse and global bedbank client base of more than 60,000 travel intermediaries around the world.

Orlando, Florida– August 22, 2018 - Hotelbeds Group, the world’s leading bedbank and business-to-business provider of services to the travel industry globally, has today provided an update on the appointments of senior management across its Group in the Americas.

Matias Elisavetsky will now be taking the role of Regional Director of Sourcing for the Americas market, reporting to Sam Turner, the Wholesale Sales &amp; Sourcing Director for the Group globally.

Elisavetsky will be responsible for managing relationships with existing hotels across the Americas whilst also driving contracting for new properties using insight and intelligence from the Commercial Strategy team.

Prior to this role, Elisavetsky had been with Tourico Holidays, which became a part of Hotelbeds Group during summer of last year, since 2006, and was most recently the Executive Vice President of Global Product Development.

Additionally, the Group has confirmed the individuals who will report to Elisavetsky, combining existing internal talent from across the three bedbanks, Hotelbeds, GTA, and Tourico Holidays.

Renata Cenni will be the Regional Manager for South West USA; Alex Hugh Jones becomes Regional Manager for North East US; Alice Kilpatrick takes on the role of Regional Manager for South East US; Bill Chambers changes to Regional Manager for Rest of US &amp; Canada; Gisela Blok will be the Head of Mexico &amp; Caribbean; Marcus Simões is set to be Regional Manager for Brazil; Gaston Nacimento is placed as the Regional Manager for Rest of South America.

Hotelbeds Group, the world’s leading bedbank, has unveiled a strategic partnership with Rezdy, the Sydney-based independent booking software provider specialising in tours &amp; attractions, to increase further the volume of real-time bookings for experiences globally on the Group’s platform and expand the Group’s global portfolio of tours &amp; activities.

The partnership will immediately bring an additional&nbsp;1,000 plus&nbsp;activities to Hotelbeds Group´s Ancillary Bank business, with that number increasing progressively over a one year period to integrate a percentage of the 65,000 total number of activities available on the Rezdy platform globally.

As a first stage of the integration the Group has already integrated activities from Paris, Copenhagen, Oslo, Stockholm and Barcelona. As the integration progresses, the Group will include more destinations in its platform, expanding to include Asia Pacific – where Rezdy has a particularly strong product base, having originally been founded in Australia. The high proportion of Asia Pacific content presents a significant opportunity for Hotelbeds Group given its high-growth potential, where recently year-on-year growth has been strong.

Orlando, Florida– July 18th, 2018 - Hotelbeds Group, the world’s leading bedbank and business-to-business provider of services to the travel industry globally, has today provided a further &nbsp;update on the appointment of senior management positions across its Group.

Lauren Volcheff Atlass has been appointed the Regional Director of Wholesale Sales for the whole of the Americas, reporting directly to Sam Turner, the Wholesale Sales &amp; Sourcing Director with global responsibility. In this role, she will be responsible for managing relationships and driving growth with wholesale clients, including tour operators, airlines, points redemption schemes, online travel agents, and re-sellers. Previously, Atlass had been with Tourico Holidays, which joined Hotelbeds Group in the summer of 2017, for over 10 years and was most recently the Executive Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing.

The Group has additionally confirmed the regional management positions that will report into Atlass, combining the best talent from across the three bedbanks, Tourico Holidays, GTA, and Hotelbeds. Deborah Kenton will be the Regional Manager for North America – East, Sevil Arnavutoglu Le will cover North America – West, Emmanuel Labstida has been appointed to Central Latin America, and Alexandre Vanzella for Latin America – South, all as Regional Managers; meanwhile Lev Koutamonov will take the role of Regional Manager of Client Technical Solutions in the Americas.

Since the beginning of this year, Hotelbeds Group has been in the process of selecting the best profiles across the three companies, at both senior management and management levels, with the objective to better cater for the needs of the Group’s expanded operations as a result from the integration among Tourico Holidays, GTA, and Hotelbeds.&nbsp; So far around 350 appointments have been made.

Following the decision announced late last year of the selection of the IT platform and architecture for the enlarged organization, recently the Group confirmed that all of its bedbank brands – Hotelbeds, Bedsonline, Tourico Holidays, and GTA – will all be transitioned onto the same technology platform by the close of this year.

Debido a la importancia y tamaño del mercado español, la región se ha divido en tres zonas de la mano de tres directores regionales de perfil senior. Se trata de Paolo Boiano, que ha sido nombrado Regional Manager de España Centro y a su vez gestiona los clientes estratégicos –además de ser responsable del mercado portugués-; Cosme Maíz, Regional Manager de la zona Norte, Sur y Este de España; y finalmente Esmeralda Coll, que se ha unido al equipo de Bedsonline tras varios años como Regional Manager de Hotelbeds para el Centro y Este de Europa, será responsable del equipo de Sales Executives de la región de Iberia.

Los tres Regional Managers cuentan a su vez con un equipo comercial sólido formado por Strategic Account Managers (SAM), Key Account Managers basados localmente y Sales Executives, que se encuentran en la oficina central situada en Palma.

Para gestionar las cuentas estratégicas y grupos de gestión, Bedsonline ha tomado la decisión de promocionar a Javier Galí y a Dídac Camps, anteriores comerciales de la zona de Madrid y Barcelona respectivamente, como nuevos Strategic Account Managers.

Con esta nueva estructura, la empresa persigue acercarse a su amplia cartera de clientes, formada por más de 8.000 agencias de viajes en el territorio español, ofreciendo un asesoramiento íntegro, aumentando las visitas comerciales, y de esta manera ofrecer a las agencias una atención mucho más personalizada.
